OMG your drawing made me wondering what the story would looks like if the New Power level was the reason Nerissa to get corrupted and kill Cassidy? Maybe something like this:
After they defeated Phobos, W.I.T.C.H. are not Guardians of the Veil anymore - now they are Guardians of Kandrakar. To reward them, the Oracle Himerish upgraded their powers to the New Power level. That made Yan Lin worried and she has her reason:
Many years ago, Yan Lin was a Guardian. She and her friends - Cassidy, Halinor, Kadma and Nerissa were an united team with their first level powers, until one day the Oracle gave them the New Power after some succesful missions. Seeing how more powerful the Heart can make her, Nerissa wanted it for herself only. The Oracle noticed the change in her and decided to gave the Heart to the Water Guardian - Cassidy. Mad with rage, Nerissa killed her friend. After Cassidy's death Yan Lin became the new Keeper of the Heart. Now, after WITCH got New Power, Nerissa is back for revenge. Yan Lin warned WITCH many times that New Power is too powerful and they will have to be careful and to keep their hearts clean from corruption.
Yor drawing really inspired me.
I think it's a good storyline for a third version of WITCH if Disney make a WITCH movie one day.
